Joss McKinley is a British photographer and filmmaker based in London. Working across still life, fashion and documentary, his practice explores the tension between the composed and the observed, with images marked by a quiet precision and an attention to the subtle relationships between objects, people and place.

Over the past two decades, McKinley has worked fluidly between artistic and commercial contexts, producing editorial and campaign work for clients including Dior, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Vogue Italia and The New Yorker, alongside an ongoing personal practice.

His work is held in public and private collections including Foam, Amsterdam, The National Portrait Gallery, London and UAL, London.
